TRANSCRIPTION: On demand the 11th day of Sept. 1843 we John K Floyd principal and securit, promise to pay to John Ker his executors, administrators and assigns, the just and full sum of Eighteen dollars and cents, lawful money of the United States, with legal interest thereon, from the 11th day of September until payment for value received. For which payment, well and truly to be made, we bind ourselves and each of us, and each of our heirs, executors and administrators, jointly and severally firmly by these presents . Witness our hands and seals this 11th day of Sept. Anno Domini 1843. Teste John K. Floyd |
