Stratton Nottingham attended school at Eastville Academy and then schools in Norfolk. He worked in Norfolk and New York for several years before returning to the Shore in 1915. He worked briefly at the Clerk's Office for the Northampton Circuit Court from 1920 to 1921. He then spent a decade transcribing court records in Accomack and Northampton County that were published as books. |
