Barry Goldwater was an American politician. Born in Arizona, Goldwater was a pilot for the U.S. Army Air Forces during World War II. He entered politics after the war. He was an Arizona Senator from 1953 to 1965 and again from 1969 to 1987. He was the Republican Party nominee for President in 1964. |
