Series of photos of boats taken on the Shore. Several of the boats pictured are steamers, ferries, and work boats that were named. 124: Smokestack of the Virginia Ferry Corp. ferry "Pocahontas" on her maiden trip circa 1941. The ferry ran from Cape Charles to Virginia Beach from 1941 to 1964. 152: Steamer "Pocomoke" at Onancock wharf. The steamer carried passengers and cargo from Onancock to Baltimore. 1152: 2 photos of Kiptopeke ferry circa 1967 First photo of bow and starboard side of ferry.
