Description |
1778 currency note for eight dollars, framed. Front says note was issued by U.S. Congress in Philadelphia after September 26, 1778. Number in top left is blank. Stamp with a lyre and a Latin "Majora Noribus Consanant." Signature in bottom right corner. Back also notes "Eight Dollars" and has a print of three leaves. Bottom reads "Printed by Hall and Sellers, 1778." |
