Walker's Seaside Oyster tin can Clear plastic top, bottom has been removed. Around the side is painted label "Walker's Seaside Oysters" in white writing on red interlocking ovals. Smaller writing "Walker's seaside salts; the genuine; Reg. U.S. Seaside pat. off.; oyster with natural sea flavor. That true; 'Salty Tang o'the Sea' " in red writing. Underneath white background is small red writing. "distributed by 'JC Walker Brothers, Inc. Exmore VA'; Virginia 172." Walker's Seaside Oysters was founded in 1889 by Tom and Wade Walker. The company is known today as JC Walker Brothers Inc. and has been run by the Walker family for six generations. |
