Description |
Black mourning bonnet. Velvet top of bonnet has a folded pattern with tight folds along the center and wide folds along the edges. Bow at the top of the front of the bonnet. Inside of bonnet is lined with silk. Velvet ribbons running from the front of the bonnet. Bonnet was owned by Susan Ann Martin of Accomack County, VA. Circa mid-1800s to early 1900s. |
