Description |
Red cashmere jacket with white embroidery in a scrolled pattern. Lined with white material. Jacket was made pre-1861 and not worn after 1861. Bell sleeves with collar. Flared back and front. 27" long. White scrolled embroidery on either side of front, around bottom of jacket and around sleeves. Worn by Mary Ann Rayfield (born 1824) of Accomack County, VA. |
