Description |
United States Navy medal for the Dominican Campaign. Ribbon is red with two blue stripes offset from center. Front of medal depicts Fort Ozama at the entrance of Santo Domingo Harbour and reads "Dominican Campaign. Back of medal shows an eagle carrying an anchor and reads "United States Navy For Service." Medal was awarded to servicemen who served during the U.S. invasion of the Dominican Republic from May to December 1916. |
