Mary Floyd was the daughter of Mary White and Tully Robinson III, a doctor and landowner in Northampton County. She married Samuel Littleton Floyd in 1829. Mary and Samuel owned land in Northampton County and held several enslaved people including Adah, Edith, Elizabeth, Harry, Jacob Sr., and Jacob. After her death in 1842, her and Samuel's only daughter was adopted by Dr. John Ker, the administrator of Mary's estate. |
